How I found shelter in an abandoned tourist information house, in the middle of a desolate desert in direction to the driest place on earth. With just a peanut bar, an apple and a yogurt in my backpack, I hitchhiked during 4 days across 415 km of desert, salt flats, mines, and snowy mountains.
My name is Francisco, from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and since 2018 I cut all bind with my family. On the 27th of September of the same year, with no technology and all my belongings fitting in no more than a 70L backpack, I started a trip that would last 2 years.
Climbing is a sport I discovered not a long time ago, and to which I feel very connected. My first time climbing was in a wall in "Cacheuta Sur", Mendoza. The landscape was outstanding, and we spent the day together with a group, sharing and enjoying the mountains. It was this day when I found the beauty behind climbing.
